Acteron has developed a unique process for the electrodeposition of rhodium. OptiRhodium(tm) is a major breakthrough in characteristics and applications of rhodium coatings. It eliminates problems of ductility, stress cracking, porosity and adhesion traditionally associated with rhodium deposits.

  • Corrosion Resistance Highly inert pore-free coatings provide extreme corrosion resistance and are resistant to most process environments including fluoride, chloride, nitrate, sulfate and phosphate exposures. Thin underplate coatings of OptiRhodium(tm) can prevent substrate diffusion through gold outer layers even with prolonged exposure at highly elevated temperatures.
